We used to talk about impossible situations.

Examples:

1. If we were in London today, we would be able to go to the concert in Hyde Park.

Hope and wish

We use hope when we refers to actions in present and wish with actions in past.

Examples:

1. I hope this is the last mistake.
2. I wish my phone worked here.
3. I hope Antonio got home safely.
4. I wish you'd told me sooner.

Reported speech

Is when we report someone's words literaly or put the subject and "said that"

Examples:

1. He said she was living in London.
2. My mom said she hadn't seen Julie.
3. She said she had taken English lessons before.

Reporting questions

We report what the people said but in those cases we report questions and we aren't interested in the answer.

Examples:

1. She asked me if I was cold.
2. He asked where his pen was.
3. They asked us whether we wanted lunch.
4. She asked me where the station was.
5. He asked me who had seen Avatar.

Compound nouns

Words can be combined to form compound nouns and they normaly have two parts.
The second part identifies the object or question in person and the first part tell us what kind of object or person it is.

We use them to describes situations where we want someone else to do something.

Examples:

1. I had my car washed at that new place by the station
2. We didn't want to cook so we got a pizza delivered.

We use The when we are mention a noun that is only one and when we are talk about plural nouns.

Examples:

To talk about things that were true in the past but aren’t true in the present.

So/Too vs Either / Neither

Express similarity to show we agree with the other person’s opinion on something.

Examples:

1. I didn't like cats. 

Neither did Mary./Mary didn't either.

So does Sandy./ Sandy does too.

Make/do

Use make when you talk about something you create with your hands and use do when speaking about vague, or indefinite activities

Examples:

3. Walter makes the dinner now.

Present Perfect + already/yet/just

 Use it to say that an action happened at an unspecified time before now. The exact time is not important.

Examples:

1. Have you seen that movie many times?
2. You haven't gone to Cancun.
3. She has cooked dinner.
4. I have lost my key.

Present Perfect Continuous

To talk about an action that started in the past and is continuing now. This is often used with for o since.

Examples:

1. Have you been waiting for her?
2. You haven't been waiting here for two hours.
3. I have been living here since 2001.
4. I have been working all afternoon.

The importance of our senses

Why is each sense important for me?
If you had to choose, what sense would you eliminate? Why?

The humans have five senses taste, smell, sight, touch and hearing but I think that the most important sense that we have is the taste because when we were little babies we didn’t have so developed the other senses and the babies try to experiment flavors.

Studies show us that it’s true, there are some theories of famous psychologist approve that the childhood is when we can experiment with our senses and in the future if we smell, sight, etc. something that tried in the past we can return our memories to remember places or moments that we lived.

If I had to choose one sense to eliminate, I decide that smell sense because I think that it’s not necessary a lot but the other ones of course that are basically for live healthy.

My favorite toy when I was four years old.

When I was four years old I used to play with my bee toy, it was more than a toy for me because I felt that it was part of my family, like a sister for me. 

Maybe the definition of toy it's not correct because it was a fluffy teddy and her name was Coco.

According to my memory, I used to cry mostly becasue I couldn't bring Coco to school and I use to lead her everywhere. 

Before Coco was lost somewhere in my room, I remeber some caracteristics of she. Coco had a red antennas, big brown eyes, she wasn't very big, her body was completely yellow and she was a little chubby.  Coco was very special because she was a bee without black stripes but of course she was a bee.

I don't remeber de material but I supose that inside her had cotton.

Now a day I don't have any photo with Coco but its like the bee on the description, just remeber that Coco didn't have black stripes.

Saint Patrick's Day

This day has been celebrating on many countries of Unites States but it started on Ireland.

History tell us that a boy, Saint Patrick, was born in 387, near Dumbarton, in Scotland. 

When his father was an official of roman army, the irish pirates took prisoner to Patrick to sell him like a slave, he was only 16 years old. 

He stay on Ireland six years where he learned to speack the celta language and then he scaped to France to prepare for become a priest and after all, he came back to evangelize their population and building churches so he could expand the christianism, then almost three decades he died on may 17 of 461. 

The history with the time it was convert on a christian belief and says that Patrick explained the mistery of holy trinity (The father, the son and the holy spirit) using a three-leafed clover, thats the reson to people use the green for everything on this important day, even to dye beer.

Now at day they realice numerous parades, celebrate with their family and friends, they use all the day green clothes, drink much beer, cook irish food like meat with vegetables , etc. and lasts five days. 

It's very important the atmosphere of the places so it's basic to listen  relevant music with this day, for example:
